40 mph winds, 11 degrees, at the highest point in the eastern US. But can I really complain? These guys ran 40+ miles in it…

There wasn’t a ton going on at this event, but kids are always expressive and great to shoot regardless. Had a good time circling the room looking for reactions to the presentation they were watching.

ImageJared McQueen is an old friend and an individual, who also happens to kill it on ye old skateboard.  This spot is amazing and on a lake and doesn’t exist anymore.  Some of my fondest memories of the high country are from here.  RIP Country Club Ditch.

High Velocity Wrestling!

Running a little behind with this one – but better late than never! Here’s the original little introduction as it appeared on the Mountain X website:

On a quiet Christmas Eve in Hendersonville, most community members could be found either at home with family enjoying some down time, or at late night church services singing “Silent Night” by candlelight. But for a small and enthusiastic base of fans and athletes, the doors to High Velocity Wrestling’s Arena were open, and the Christmas Ball Brawl was well underway.
Gary Benfield, or more commonly Viper; is the owner and operator of the wrestling arena/school in Hendersonville, and wanted to do something special for the Holidays. Viper adorned a well-lit Christmas tree with ornaments containing the names of HVW wrestlers, to be chosen at random by audience members, thus deciding who would fight who at random. The Brawl culminated in a Battle Royal featuring a special bearded guest dressed in red and white.

No presents from Santa this year – just a serious beat down!
